Hi, I’m Laura
If you’ve learned to cope by pushing yourself, overthinking, or trying to stay in control, you might feel exhausted by the pressure you put on yourself. You might look capable on the outside but feel anxious, self-critical, or unsettled inside.
Reaching out for help can feel daunting, but you don’t have to face your difficulties alone. Rather than just focusing on symptoms, we’ll look at the bigger picture; the patterns that may have developed over time, the triggers that activate them, and the factors that keep you stuck. As an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, I draw upon my clinical training and experience not only to help you understand your patterns, but to support you in turning that insight into meaningful, lasting change.
Even though you want to make meaningful changes in your life, therapy can feel anxiety inducing. This is why I offer a free of charge 15 minute consultation; to give you the opportunity to talk through what you’re looking for and to get a sense of what it would be like to work together.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in clinical expertise, while equally recognising and valuing your expertise in your own lived experience. I strive to adapt my approach to your unique needs and I am here to walk alongside you in this process, offering the tools and compassion you need to overcome your difficulties.
When you feel overwhelmed by intense emotions or unsettled by uncertainty, it is important that you are genuinely heard and understood within a supportive therapeutic space. Approaching your experiences with empathy and care, means that your emotions can begin to feel less frightening and more manageable.
Through my calm, collaborative approach, I help clients slow things down, make sense of what they’re feeling, and gradually build greater tolerance for uncertainty. Together, we can strengthen emotional regulation, restore a sense of steadiness, and foster the confidence and clarity needed to move forward.

Low mood
Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
Panic
Social anxiety
Health anxiety
Eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID)
Body image difficulties
